About the Artists
Carmen Nickerson is a powerhouse singer-songwriter whose expressive, message-driven music has deep roots in her upbringing on a small Iowa farm. Her 2023 solo release Room To Grow earned critical acclaim — even landing among The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Top 15 Albums of the Year. Critics praise Nickerson’s “shimmering” voice that effortlessly captures every listener’s attention. She was recently honored with the WAMI Female Vocalist of the Year Award for 2025.
Joining her are two acclaimed instrumentalists:
Kostia Efimov, a classically trained pianist and composer from St. Petersburg with decades of recordings and performances, and Stas Venglevski, a world-renowned bayan (accordion) virtuoso whose extensive performance history includes appearances with major orchestras and on stages around the globe.
