Sunday morning gray skies did not affect out fifteenth Sunday Brunch Surprise concert whatsoever. Alyssia Dominguez lit up our mornings with her vibrant music and uplifting charisma. The virtual concert on December 6th reminded us why this series is so valuable to our organization, for our viewers, and for the musicians.
With the release of her album, Dance with Me, Alyssia Dominguez is bringing a new flair to country music by infusing a touch of her Hispanic roots. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in traditional Tejano music, Alyssia was always destined to be a musician. Alyssia began performing at local venues at the age of fifteen. Since then, the list of stages where she has performed has grown to include the Wisconsin State Fair, Summerfest, The Gobbler Theater, Turner Hall Ballroom, and many others. Currently performing as a solo artist Alyssia is hoping to change the game in the music scene with her unique style.
“I love music that incorporates Spanish into it,” commented Noemy, a second timer at our Sunday Brunch concerts, about Alyssia’s music.
Alyssia played music from her latest album, Dance With Me, and other original music that she is hoping to record soon. Her music successfully fuses country sounds with Latin grooves, and we were delighted to hear her unique sound. Alyssia also commented how lovely it was to see the audience’s faces via Zoom unlike other live streaming platforms.
From Nashville, TN to Oconomowoc, WI and beyond, we know that Alyssia’s sound will travel far and we are so excited to see her career flourish. This series has been such a fun way to feature some of Wisconsin’s most talented musicians! Stay connected with Alyssia via Facebook, Instagram or her website.
